Krinwave Showcases Transcranial Ultrasound at Young Ultrasound Conference

May 13, 2026

From April 23 to 26, 2026, the 4th Congress of Young Ultrasound Medicine, organized by the Chinese Medical Association, was held in Tianjin, China. In his opening remarks, Prof. Jianchu Li, President of the Congress, emphasized that the younger generation has become a key driving force in advancing the development of ultrasound medicine in China, and expressed expectations that academic exchange and innovation practice would continue to inject momentum into high-quality development of the field.

During the conference, Krinwave Technology hosted a hands-on demonstration of adult transcranial ultrasound at its exhibition booth, attracting young physicians from multiple regions to participate in operation and discussion. Participants performed intracranial scanning via the temporal acoustic window. As imaging progressively developed, key anatomical structures such as the midbrain, substantia nigra, and raphe nuclei became identifiable; with further transition to the thalamic plane, the third ventricle and bilateral thalamic structures were clearly visualized.

In on-site discussions, young physicians exchanged perspectives on the potential clinical applications of transcranial ultrasound in scenarios such as neurocritical care, as well as possible directions for further research expansion.

Krinwave Technology recorded and curated selected transcranial ultrasound images generated during the session, presenting them as documentation of participants’ first hands-on experience. The company stated that it will continue to advance innovation in ultrasound imaging technologies and expand clinical applications, contributing to the development of related medical fields.
