At the 2026 China International Medical Equipment Fair (CMEF), Krinwave officially introduced the WE8 Portable Transcranial Ultrasound Diagnostic System. As the industry’s first portable solution capable of adult brain imaging, WE8 is built on the HUS technology (High Penetration Probe, Ultrafast Plane Wave, and Super-Resolution Beamforming), a high-performance GPU architecture, and the proprietary kOS ultrasound system, further expanding the clinical application of transcranial ultrasound in emergency and point-of-care settings.
Addressing the unmet need for early imaging support in acute conditions such as stroke, WE8 enables structural and hemodynamic assessment of the brain, supporting preliminary stroke evaluation and patient monitoring, and extending imaging capability beyond the hospital setting into earlier stages of care.
During the event, WE8 attracted strong engagement from clinicians, partners, and media, with extensive hands-on experience and discussions around its clinical applications and future potential.
In parallel, Krinwave CEO JiaJia Liu delivered a keynote speech titled “Brain–Computer Interface Based on HUS High Penetration, Ultrafast, Super-Resolution Ultrasound Imaging” at the “Frontier Technologies and Clinical Applications” session, highlighting ongoing innovations of HUS technology in neuroscience and brain–computer interface research.
